Ofer Wolberger


(b. 1976) studied art history, visual arts and film at the State University in New York up to 1998. He received his Master of Fine Arts in photography from the School of Arts in New York in 2001. He was awarded a Grant for Emerging Photographers from the Humble Arts Foundation in New York in Spring 2008. His works have been shown at the New York Photo Festival and in the Young Curators, New Ideas exhibition at the Bond Street Gallery in Brooklyn. Wolberger’s photographs have been published in the New York Times Magazine, GQ, Life, and Big Magazine. Parts of the series Life with Maggie have been shown in London and South Korea. The photographer lives and works in New York City.

Jennifer Crowley


, (b. 1980) completed her undergraduate studies in art history, ethnology, and sociology at the University of Cologne. In her master’s thesis, she explored the ethnographic gaze on the Other in ethnological and artistic photography. In her dissertation thesis, which she is completing in the framework of the interdisciplinary research center a.r.t.e.s. at the Department of Philosophy in Cologne, she is taking a cultural anthropological approach as well, inquiring into the relation between human beings and landscape in photography. In addition to finishing her doctoral degree, she is also currently working as an artist’s assistant.
