Biographies
Anne Lassborn in 1978, studied communication design at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Folkwang Hochschule), including courses in documentary photography with Jörg Sasse. In 2003, she completed a semester abroad at the University of Applied Arts in Budapest. Her extensive travels have taken her to the US, Australia, among many other countries. Since 2004, her photographs have been shown regularly in solo and group exhibitions in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Milan, Istanbul, and the US. For her work, she has been awarded the Profifoto Förderpreis (2008) and the Epson Art Photo Award (2005 and 2006). Anne Lass is co-founder of the art project “Weißer Salon.” She lives in Berlin. Katja Melzerborn in 1982, studied art history, cultural studies and business at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, while working simultaneously as assistant at the KunstBüroBerlin. In 2006, she spent nine months at ELTE University Budapest under an ERASMUS scholarship. There, working together with other art historians from Berlin and Budapest, she organized the art project “24perc- 24Minuten.” After completing her Magister Artium, she moved to Budapest, and since January 2009 has been working at the Ludwig Museum as a DAAD scholarship holder. Katja Melzer is currently collaborating with Berlin photographer Oliver Schmidt on a book of photography. She lives in Budapest. |
