![]() Stephan ErfurtStephan Erfurt studied communication design at the University of Essen. From 1984 to 1989 he lived in New York and worked as a photographer´s assistant to Evelyn Hofer and Hans Namuth, among others. Since 1985, Stephan Erfurt has been working as a photographer for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung magazine, GEO, mare, and many other publications. Alongside commis-sioned work for the German Bundestag, he has developed book projects about artists like Richard Serra and Eduardo Chillida. His photographs are contained in such prestigious collections as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Museum Ludwig in Cologne. In the year 2000, together with designer Marc Naroska and architect Ingo Pott, Stephan Erfurt founded C/O Berlin.
